The Unconscious
In my past something terrible happened. I’m not allowed to remember it, the danger of being hurt is too great. Because I want to exist I’ve forgotten it. But it continues to live inside me and change me. The unconscious is the sum of that which I have forgotten and suppressed. Everything that reminds me of it I suppress into the unconscious. When I dream, it tries to make contact with me and to melt into my consciousness. It wants to be recalled and to complete my consciousness. But the images are encrypted. Although I’m not afraid of the message from the depth of my soul, I can’t understand these images without help. I won’t let my unconscious rule me, and decipher the images. Because otherwise I react automatically, seemingly without knowing, like a robot I’ll keep doing the same routine, whether it be beneficial or harmful. I won’t be able to explain anything and will be on the run. The unconscious is my sealed secret, my mystery. An undiscovered potential awaits me, is my chance. I fathom my depths, as sinister and horrific as they may seem. It’s over. What happened cannot be changed. But I can benefit from the energies in my unconscious. I believe in myself and open the door to a new world in which everything becomes possible.
