The powerful trunk of an old, healthy tree symbolizes the balance between my body, spirit and my soul. Not until there’s a balance between my spiritual aspirations and my actions will I experience well-being. My physical well-being is dependent on giving my body what it needs. I pay attention to the combination and the balance of satisfied needs, and nourish my spirit as well as my body. When I feel defeated and sick I allow myself a break and withdraw. By taking care of my strengths and ‘reloading’ my energies, I allow my body to heal itself. In my life I take care to free myself from unnecessary burdens in order to create important basic prerequisites for my spiritual and physical welfare. I stand for my own rights and listen to my inner voice – for ignoring my needs can make me sick. I use every discomfort to find a new direction and to treat myself more lovingly. I pay attention to the signs of my body and am not ignorant towards myself. If I find making a decision difficult, I search in the silence, meditate and listen to the wisdom of my soul. My inner voice will tell me what I need and will support a healthy lifestyle.
